Quinn and Maggie have one big thing in common... a heart murmur. The pediatrician finally explained it to me. She didn't notice one at 6 months, but did at 9 months. It's only a 2/6, so not strong. She expects it to clear up on its own, but she will send us to a cardiologist if it's still there at 2 years. Maggie, on the other hand, is just old:( She is 12. I really thought she was on her last leg. The vet said she has a pretty bad heart murmur. He gave her heart medicine, medicine for congestion, and a nutritional supplement. With that, she should gain weight and energy, and the heart will be better!

Happy Birthday Dinner at Sirloin Stockade. She ate really well, and was rewarded with ice cream.
