Update
Quinn has a lot going on right now.
She got her first tooth on Monday, at exactly 5 months old.
She has RSV.
She has an ear infection.
So yeah, it's been a rough week in the life of Quinn.
My baby is so great. I don't see how such a little thing who has been going through so much can still be so happy! She will cough like crazy and then smile at you. Also, since being sick, she's been sleeping like a champ. She has been napping off and on most of the day and then sleeping SO well at night, getting up just once to eat.
There are two other babies at Jill's (her sitter). One is two weeks older than her. One is two weeks younger than her. The younger one ended up with RSV on Thursday. The older one ended up with it on Friday. Quinn's cough started Saturday. Saturday through Monday she wasn't too bad. She was just coughing every once in awhile. Sunday she was a mess! But we learned Monday that it was because of that tooth. (I will get a picture when I can.) Tuesday I took her to Jill's, and Jill called about 1:30 to tell me the cough was getting pretty bad. We got right in to the doctor. She didn't cough once while the nurse or doctor were in there. She would cough the second they left of course. But she does have an ear infection, so he gave her an antibiotic for that. They don't do anything for RSV unless it gets really bad.
Daniel took off Wednesday with her, and they slept the majority of the day. I was supposed to work 12-9 today. I'm going in at 5, and Daniel's coming home early so I can be there in time. She had a pretty rough day yesterday, but she's having a better day today. She's still coughing and REALLY snotty, but she's super happy and sleeping well. Actually, she was taking a great nap when Cooper thought he heard something outside and started barking. Darn dog!
So, if you've made it through all that.... here are some pictures!
Sporting the fake Uggs!
So much to do!
Wow, that thumb must be good.
Ha ha, she pulled her sock off with her mouth!
Someone has been in Pajamas since Saturday! This was her Tuesday. She might not have a smile on her face, but she wasn't mad or fussing. Oh baby, get better soon. Mommy can't stand seeing her sick like that!

Tractor Ridin'
This was actually Quinn's second tractor ride. She was thoroughly unimpressed. Cooper, on the other hand, had as much fun as he did the first time.
Monkey Butt!!!
exersaucer
Quinn used to not be able to sit in this. Then she could, but she wouldn't do anything. Then, she would just stare at all the colors. Today she is being a little cranky, wanting lots of attention. I decided to see if she wanted to play in here. At first she was facing the other way. She was grabbing the sun and pulling it toward her and playing with the stuff that rolls and pops. She started getting cranky I think because she couldn't see me, so I turned her around to the other side. She instantly started playing with the frog, rolling it around. Then she realized there is a mirror down there. She will roll the frog over then stare at herself in the little mirror then repeat. Oh my goodness, she is blowing raspberries at herself in the mirror! She just started blowing raspberries a few days ago. If you blow them at her she will usually laugh and stick her tongue out, and then sometimes she will blow them back. Then she usually starts blowing them a minute or so later. Watching her play with the frog, stare at herself, and blow raspberries is cracking me up! Now if only she would take a nap.

4 month stats and what Quinn can do
I forgot to post the stats from her 4 month appointment! Plus I'm going to write a bunch about what she does and how she acts, mostly so I don't forget. So here is a whole lot of writing to go with the post of pictures I just posted.
She went on the 23rd, making her exactly 4 months old. I am not 100% sure I remember it all right because they didn't give me the sheet with her info on it but I think she is...
15lbs, 5 oz
25.5 inches tall
45.5 cm head
The doctor said she is about average for height and weight. I looked it up online and she would be between 25 and 50% for weight and between 50 and 75% for height. Her head is at 98% which means she is finally back on the chart instead of well above it.
She still is on reflux medicine, and she is still spitting up all the time. She is drooling like a fool. So we go through bibs like they are going out of style.
She is working on sitting up and can finally do it with just a little assistance. She has no desire to stand at all! Today she finally successfully rolled over from back to tummy. She hasn't shown any more signs of teething other than chewing on everything and drooling. Her hands are always in her mouth and she goes from sucking 2 fingers to sucking her thumb. I try to get her to bed between 7:30 and 8:30, but sometimes we go out to eat or something and we aren't home at that time. When that happens she usually falls asleep in her seat and might wake up when we get home, but after changing into jammies and maybe eating she falls back to sleep. She gets up a couple times to eat at night, but I'm getting a good 4 or 5 hours before the first feeding and 3-4 hours after that. She sleeps most of the morning too!!! For that I am very thankful. Today, for example, she woke up at 9 for a little over an hour then fell back to sleep until almost 1! I needed that because I stayed up way later than usual last night. Quinn didn't get to see the ball drop because she was sleeping like a champ.
Quinn is such a happy baby. Jill (the sitter) said she usually doesn't even get fussy when she is hungry, she just starts sucking on her hands harder. She has been playing on the floor with her toys most of today and only fussed a little when she got stuck on her tummy and cried a tiny bit when she was ready to eat (and was tired too). She doesn't have a set schedule for naps. We just put her down when she acts tired. Usually she sleeps most of the morning (maybe being up for an hour or so sometime in the morning, around 7 or 9), gets up around noon or so, is up for a couple hours, takes an hour or 2 nap, is up for a couple hours, takes another short nap, is up for a few more hours, then goes to bed.
And boy does this girl babble and coo! Sometimes she can be so cute and silent, but she is often making all kinds of noises, especially when she is tired. I have a couple videos on my phone that I will try to download and post sometime.
I know how lucky Daniel and I are because Quinn is just a wonderful baby. She is so happy and relaxed. She has no stranger anxiety at all. Her sleeping has improved drastically. She is progressing just like she is supposed to. Even when she cries, it's usually not loud at all. And of course she is adorable (I'm not biased or anything). I can't wait to see what 2012 brings!

Happy New Year!
We need our beauty sleep!
I adore this picture.
She sleeps in her carseat all the time!
There is the super cute bow I won for her. I love it, and apparently she does too.
Fell asleep holding on to her Christmas bow.
She rolled over! Today! She has been trying to roll from her back to her stomach but kept getting her arm stuck under herself. Today she was playing on the floor (and watching football) while I was making breakfast. Her head was actually where the sun is on the mat. She ended up scooting herself around. I go in there a couple minutes later and she's on her tummy!!! She is 4 months and 9 days old.
