Mother's Day
I got to spend my first official Mother's Day holding this cutie while she slept. Then later, I got some alone time to read a book. Then I took a nap WITH this cutie. Not too shabby.

He has a name! It's Otis. We decided a little over a week ago, so he went what, 6 weeks without a name?! We're horrible pet owners
8.5 months recap
Ok I've not been doing a good job posting at all. My camera on my phone isn't doing a good job, so I haven't taken many pictures. Also, I've been lazy. I'm going to try to post some pictures here in a minute. Just in case I don't, I'll try to recap the last couple weeks.
I'm really mad that I didn't write it down, because now I don't remember, but very shortly after the last post Quinn started crawling. I'm thinking May 2nd (Mom's birthday!) was the day Jill told me she was crawling everywhere. I brought her home to the construction site that was our house and took her outside to try to get her to crawl, but she was too busy playing with the grass. The next day I worked until 9, and the house was still a mess, so I didn't see it that day either. The next day, Daniel had put the dining room back into the dining room so there was room, and she took off! She crawls like a crazy woman!
She still dances all the time. Turn on music, she instantly dances. Watch TV and hear a theme song, she dances. Say "Quinn, Dance" and she dances without music! It's quite possibly my new favorite thing. She also sometimes does this super cute thing. If you say "So big" and put your arms up she will sometimes put hers up too. It usually at least gets a smile out of her. In the last couple of days Daniel has gotten her to clap! She looks so darn cute. Today Jill told her to dance and she was dancing, clapping, and putting her arms up. She has all these tricks and is getting confused when to do them I guess.
She still only has 3 teeth. She has an ear infection. I take her to the chiro every week, and I think that's helped, because we made it over a month without having to take her to the doctor. She hasn't had a fever, but her ear is starting to leak. Drat those ears! I don't want to keep giving her antibiotics!
I think that's it for now. I'll go see what pictures I can find.
