Another ear infection!

Quinn ended up with a fever today so I took her back to the doctor. Double ear infection:( She was a bit lethargic all day, but still mostly smiles. Daddy's putting up the cabinets, so she keeps waking up. Right now she is laying on my leg. She would fall asleep on me and wake up as soon as I put her in her bed, so I finally just laid her on her stomach on our bed. She kept trying to crawl around and ended up with her cheek on my leg watching me do stuff on the computer until she fell asleep. It's quite possibly the sweetest thing ever!
They didn't measure her today, but she weighed in at 18 lbs 5 oz, so gained a little less than a pound in a little over a month.She seemed to be eating a lot lately, going through a growth spurt perhaps.
I better add a picture. Here she is playing in the jumparoo, still a favorite place of hers.

I love this dress, and I love her new bow. And she is learning how to use a sippy cup. Jill said she took about 2 oz of water from it one day last week!

outside fun

So winter felt more like early spring, and heck, it's still winter and it feels like summer. But it was so nice out yesterday that we went outside. I love her sun hat! She has 3 different ones, but this is my favorite. I put it on her today for the walk in to Kroger and got compliments, so I left it on her instead of putting her bow on. I think 8 different people commented on it. It does the trick of keeping the sun out of her eyes too!

Construction Site

I'm way behind on pictures and updates! Daniel is working on the kitchen/bathroom remodel, and I'm helping by not asking for any help with Quinn. Quinn and I were out all day today, and she only ended up with 2 VERY small naps (we're talking 5 minutes.) She fell asleep on the way home around 7. She woke up for a couple minutes around 7:30, and then she woke up at 8:30 when I moved her out of her carseat. It took maybe 10 minutes for her to fall back asleep though. I'm really hoping she sleeps the rest of the night! So I just grabbed the laptop and brought it to bed so I can make sure it is quiet enough for her to sleep, and so I can avoid the work zone. It's a huge mess right now, but Daniel is doing an awesome job of getting it done. I'm really proud of him! And now some pics:

We bought a highchair that sits on a chair at the table so Quinn could sit there. Then we realized our table is covered with stuff that used to be in cabinets that we don't have. Thankfully it sits on the floor too. Here is Quinn trying it out for the first time.

And eating a variety of fruits, but mostly strawberries.

Here she is another day, with a sippy cup, bread, and mandarin oranges. She definitely likes bread best.

And here is what Daniel put up for me! A clothes line so I can sun the diapers! Oh the simple joys of life.

Quaggie

Ok, so this is about the best picture ever! It's just a cute picture cause Quinn is sitting up on her own playing with all her toys. Don't let the pillow fool you. It's just back there in case she tumbles. But she has her rattle in one hand and a teether in the other, with a bunch of other things nearby. Then there is of course the fact that Maggie is sitting there looking like she is coming out of Quinn's head, which is why Daniel calls this picture "Quaggie." And then, once I looked closer, I noticed her hair! I love how it sticks straight up! Also, I'm not sure if you can see it or not, but her 2 teeth are pretty stinking adorable. She's had them since the day she turned 5 months, and she's now almost 7 months but doesn't appear to be getting any more any time soon. I really hope she doesn't!

Cousins

Quinn and I went to take a bunch of baby stuff back to Kelli yesterday. I called to let her know I was on the way and Wyatt answered. I asked him if it was okay if I came over. He asked me if I was bringing "your baby, Quinn." As soon as we got there, I sat her on the couch. He was rightthere to play with her, covering her up and talking to her. She was looking at him like he was crazy. I got out the camera to take a picture. Unfortunately the first picture my phone always takes when I open the camera comes out really dark, because right that second she looked over and smiled at me!

Then she went right back to staring at Wyatt.

Then of course Henry had to get in the picture!

And here they all are sitting on the couch together! I said we should set them up for the "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" pose!

And if you couldn't tell from all the green, it was St. Patrick's Day! Noah was there and wearing green too, but he didn't jump in the pictures like Henry, go figure.
