Picture

She has her hand up in the air like she always does. She is CONSTANTLY moving her hands unless she is in a very deep sleep It's cute.
I took her to get pictures taken yesterday. They won't be here for about a month! Boo!

1 month old

Quinn hit one month old yesterday. I didn't think to take a picture of her, but I did take a picture of her sleeping (which she did most of the day) so I will go ahead and post that.
Time sure does fly...
And happy 28th birthday to her daddy today!

Tummy Time and Baby Wearing

Someone was being kinda fussy, so I decided to try to get her to enjoy some time on a blanket. It didn't work, so I decided to try tummy time. She continued to fuss for about 1 minute and then passed out!

I really want to baby wear, but I didn't want to spend the money for the expensive wraps. So instead, I spent the exact same amount of money and made 2! She's actually asleep in it right now. She fell asleep seconds after I put her in there, and my hands are free to type this!! But more importantly, I will be able to go places with her in this and not have to carry her car seat around.

2 week checkup

I ventured out today with Quinn. It was the first time I drove since having her. I had to take her to the doctor, and I had a couple errands I wanted to run. Also, I was just really glad to get out of the house.
Last Tuesday she was 7lbs 11 oz. Today she was 8lbs 11 oz. They want them back to their birth weight by 2 weeks. She is getting close to a pound over that. She was 21 1/2 inches long, and I can't remember what her head circumference was, something like 37 inches maybe??? Either way, she was about 50% for weight, 95% for height, and 98% for head! Guess she takes after her daddy.
After the doctor I took her to Kelli's. She got to be her first babysitter. I went to buy some fabric so I can make a Moby wrap and to get McDonalds cause I haven't had a frappe in forever! I got back(well within an hour I think) and Quinn had been fast asleep the whole time! It was my first time being any kind of distance away from Quinn, and I think I handled it very well.
Cause I know people love pictures, here's the picture for today:

Photo Shoot

Crystal came over and took newborn pictures of Quinn today! Here is the link to the Facebook folder of it.
Bluebird Photography

Quinn didn't sleep well last night, and she was wide awake, grumpy, and needy for 8 hours today, so I'm really happy she cooperated for the pictures. We were hoping she might fall asleep for some of the pictures, but of course she was wide awake. Usually when people come over, she is fast asleep and they want to see her eyes but don't get to. I guess we were lucky she was so alert for the pictures.
Shortly after they left, she passed out. She's barely been awake since. I just hope she still sleeps tonight.

Bouncy Seat

I don't think she liked it much!

Visitors

Daniel and I have taken Quinn to our grandmothers' houses because none of them can drive out here. Otherwise, Quinn and I haven't left the house. We have been lucky enough to have some visitors out here. I don't have pictures of all of them, but I do have all of the kids that have held her (except Kelli's kids!),
Abbie

The Bunches- Gabby and Wren (and of course Aubrey)

Addy and Delaney

Furry Friends

Cooper loves Quinn. He is constantly trying to sniff her and be close to her. If anyone is holding her, he jumps in their lap. If they won't let him up, he instantly starts sniffing them as soon as they put her down. I've been a little afraid that he was going to jump into her pack and play a couple times. Any time I am sitting in the chair feeding her, he jumps up and sits at my feet. He often falls asleep.

Maggie is her regular pathetic self, hiding from everyone and everything. She just lies around the house feeling sorry for herself. There really isn't much more to say about her, which makes me sad. She's so sweet, but she won't even let me give her attention when I try. I think she's super jealous.

Sleepless Night

Quinn has her good nights and her not so great nights. 2 nights ago was amazing, with her sleeping from 1-11:45 with 3 feedings. She fell right back to sleep after each feeding. I actually woke up very refreshed. Last night, not so much. She would fuss and fuss when we would put her in her "bed". She wanted to eat every hour and be held the rest of the time. I got 2 hours of sleep when Daniel held her and 2 or 3 10 minute naps while I was feeding her. Usually she starts sleeping well as soon as it is a normal time to get up. Today, still not doing well. Daniel decided to trick her:
She looked really really mad and confused at first. Now, she's not making a peep. Here's to hoping it lasts. I'm going to go try to nap.
